Account information

When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and authentication data (if you use Google or Apple login).

Search preferences

City, budget range, housing type, and move-in date that you set in the app.

Usage data

How you interact with the app: which listings you open, notifications you click, and features you use. This helps us improve the product.

Device data

Device type, operating system, and app version. Never your location.

We use your data to:

We use a small number of trusted services to operate Roof:

All providers are GDPR compliant. We do not share your data with housing portals, landlords, or third-party advertisers.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days.

Usage logs are retained for 90 days for debugging purposes, then deleted.
